William A. Johnston entered into rest at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 22nd 2022 in his 90th year. Born October 8, 1932, the third of six sons to Morley and Eileen Johnston. Dear husband of Doreen (Shannon) for 66 years. Devoted dad to his two daughters Susan Bontaine (Jim, deceased) and Lori Shields (Gord). Beloved Grandpa of Adam (Trisha), Tyler (Michaela), Andrea (Ryan), and Kyle (Adrienne). Proud Grampie and Great-Grandpa of Hannah, Carter, Arie, Riley, Benjamin and Luke. Predeceased by brothers Merv, Orland, Carl, Eric and Glen. Survived by sisters-in-law Janet and Mary-Lou. Predeceased by sister-in-law Dianne Martin (Robert). Family service was held on Thursday, May 26th 2022 at Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia followed by interment at Cayuga River Side Cemetery.
