OLEKSIUK, Walter Michael
Longtime resident of Cayuga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Stedman Hospice, Brantford, surrounded by his loving family in his 88th year. Walter served in the air force and was an awarded photographer. He loved Jesus, cherished relationships, grew prolific vegetable gardens, and found the value in everything and everyone. Predeceased by his wife Carol and seven siblings. Beloved father of David (Cathie), Jonathan (Natasha), and Kathryn (Mike). Grandfather of Jessica, Isaac, Amber, Desiree, Emily & Dean. Survived by brother Elmer, sister-in-laws Mary Lou and Ruth, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Mike and Katyrina. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 2p.m.- 4p.m. and 6p.m. - 8p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Highway Pentecostal Church, (4501 Hwy. 6, Hagersville, ON) on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11 am. Interment in Hagersville Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Highway Pentecostal Church or a charity of your choice.
