Obituary for Terri Adele Densmore (Stubbs)

DENSMORE, Terri Adele

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Terri Densmore has passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of Thursday, November 4 at the age of 61. She was born August 16, 1960 in Caledonia, Ontario to Jack and Helen Stubbs. She took on different roles in many people’s lives, touching each of their hearts in her own special way. As a loving mother to her two kids Jack and Caitie, and loving wife to husband Hugh, and the oldest of her three siblings, Mark (Trish), Jackie (Patrick) and Lesley (Doug), as well as a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Shannon, Brendan, Tommy, Robyn, Alice and Emily, she was always taking care of those around her. She also took on other roles as a caring teacher at HWDSB, an active volunteer in her community, and a friend to all. You could either find her reading a book under a tree, gardening, painting and sewing pieces for her loved ones, or spending time with her beloved dogs. Terri took every opportunity to go the extra mile, whether it was helping out at the Caledonia Arena for Corvair hockey games, knitting mittens for the Food Bank, or making cheesy mashed potatoes for her family’s Christmas get together. If there was an opportunity to be around her loved ones, Terri would be there. You could always pick out Terri in a crowd with her one-of-a-kind Norwegian sweaters, her eager disposition to greet others, and attentiveness to solve the problems of those around her. Despite her small build, she was a strong woman that not only stood up for herself, but those around her—and it is with those qualities that she will be remembered as always being her authentic, and irreplaceable self. Friends and family are welcome to visit in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 2-4p.m and 7-9p.m. The Service will take place in the Caledonia Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, November 9, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Terri would appreciate a donation to CNIB Guide Dogs or Diabetes Canada. All “COVID 19” mandated protocols must be observed and will be enforced.
