SZOKE, Sandra (nee Johnston)
June 2, 1956 to April 7, 2023
Sandy Lea Szoke (nee Johnston) passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville, Ont., with her
loving brother David and sister Linda by her side. Sandy is predeceased by her parents Art and Sophie Johnston (nee Thatcher), her husband Larry Szoke and stepson Jay. Stepmother to Lonnie, loving sister of Gary, Linda, Fred (Sharon), and David (Cathan). Beloved Sister-in-law to Bob Szoke (Sandy), Doug Szoke (Wendy), Sue Sumsion (Craig), and loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews and friends. Many thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses, and care staff at Grandview Lodge that have looked after Sandy over the past 9 years and treated her like a sister. May
she find rest and peace. A memorial service will be held at Miller Funeral home, on Friday April 21st at 11 am., followed by light refreshments at the Legion from 12 pm to 3pm (Located across the street from the funeral home).
Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Grandview Lodge, 657 Lock St. W., Dunnville, ON N1A 1V9 or the Alzheimer’s Society.
