On Thursday, March 31, 2022, Ross Stewart Makey in his 74th year passed peacefully at home with family by his side. Ross is survived by his wife of 30 years Mary (Cook), son’s Christopher (Janet) and Paul (Wendy) and three grandchildren. Ross was born in Walpole township to Elvin and Esther Makey and is predeceased by brother Garry. A member of the International Order of Odd Fellows, Walpole Antique and Haldimand Historical Societies and an avid restorer of tractors and automobiles. Ross now goes on to share all things historical with others that have passed. A family interment will take place at the Selkirk Cemetery at a later date.
