Obituary for Roderick Eldon Gary Hock
HOCK, Roderick
Our hearts are shattered as we announce the sudden passing of our husband and father, Roderick Hock on Monday, July 26th, 2021. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Heidi, his children, Devin (Madalsa) Geordie (Kelsey) Brandon & Madison. Loving brother to Julie (Ed) & Dianne (Andre). Son in law to John and Mary Katerberg. Brother in law to Robert (Elese) George (Michelle) John (Sarah) Marti, as well as many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Eldon and Frances. Rod had many hobbies. He loved to outback camp and white water canoe with his kids. He was an avid model builder, he loved his vegetable garden and the birds who visited his birdhouses. He also enjoyed working in his shop on his metal working machines.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 30th at 6:00 pm. Due to covid rules all guests are asked to preregister through the family or through the church. This will be followed by a time of fellowship outdoors at the church from 7-9 pm, open to anyone who wishes to come.
This will take place at: York Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 33 King Ave, York, Ontario.

Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
