Obituary for Robert Brian Flint
FLINT, Robert Brian (Bob)
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Bob in his 84th year, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Barbara in 2012 and leaves behind four children Rob Flint, Judy (Dan) Mills, Jane (Jason) McAlpine and Dave Flint. Bob was grandfather to Evan and Brayden, Amanda (Curtis), Samantha (Josh), Kally, Camryn, Aaron and Great-Grandfather to Zevi, Wylder and Atley. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Thomas. Bob gave over 35 years of service to Proctor & Gamble, and after his retirement could often be found helping out Bud and Mark at Miller Funeral Chapel. Bob loved to sing and enjoyed many years as a member of the Canadian Orpheus Male Choir. He was a devoted father, grandpa and great grandpa and we will all miss his special smile and sense of humour. Special thank you to the team at Grandview Lodge for the care and support we have received for the last several years. Bob will rejoin Barb at a graveside service and interment on Friday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. in the Caledonia Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of his Life to be held in the Royal Canadian Legion, Caledonia. All are welcome to attend the service and the following celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grandview Lodge or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
