Obituary for Randy Lloyd Parkin
PARKIN, Randy Lloyd
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend to Patti for 37 years. Loving father to Kevan (Paige) and Scott. Loving brother to Cindy (Dieter) and Barry (predeceased). Loving brother-in-law to Cathie (Bob) and Sandie (Gerry-predeceased). Randy was also loved dearly by his many nieces and nephews and adored his great-nieces and great-nephews. Randy was a lifelong resident of Caledonia and a lifelong employee of Georgia Pacific in Caledonia. Randy also served on the Caledonia Fire Department for 25 years and made some great friendships that he cherished deeply. A special thank you to Dr. A. Gunning, CBI Nursing staff who were wonderful, PSW Erin and Georgia and Stedman's Outreach team for all their compassion and support. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Caledonia Presbyterian Church Hall from 2 - 4pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation. Arrangement entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia.
