Obituary for Marijke "Marcia" Boonstra
BOONSTRA, Marcia (Marijke)
On March 27, 2023 Marcia was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour. Predeceased by her husband Bill (Wicher), and daughter Jane Ouwehand and son Al Boonstra. She was the loving mother to Greta and Peter Goodwin, Dave and Julie Boonstra , Kathy Boonstra. Mother-in-law to Gail Boostra and Rudy Ouwehand and his wife MaryAnna. She will be missed by her sister, Frouk VanderMolen and sisters-in-law, Ella Veenstra, Sienie Boonstra, Joyce Boonstra, Thelma Boonstra and Jane Elzinga. She will be fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Her beautiful gardens brought joy and peace to all who visited. Thank you to the staff at Extendicare for the wonderful support and care given to Marcia and our family. A private family committal and graveside service will take place prior to a memorial visitation which will be held in the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, (61 Mohawk Rd. W. Hamilton, ON L9C 1V9) on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2p.m.- 4p.m. and 6p.m - 8p.m. followed by a service of celebration on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11a.m. in the Immanuel C.R.C. Arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia.
