INKSETTER, Marion Elizabeth (nee Morton)

On Sunday March 13th Marion passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. She is predeceased by her husband Robert William Inksetter, parents James and Catherine Morton, and brother Alan “Joe” and Gavin Morton. Loving Mother of Alan, James (Dorothy), and Catherine Wegman (Tim). Grandmother to Bob, Lindsay, Michelle, Laura, Michael, Daniel, Sarah, Matthew, and Steven. Great Grandmother to Eli, Owen, Dax, Mav, Zara, Evelyn and Bennett. Marion was a proud long-time member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church and active member of The Carluke Ladies Aid. Marion and her late husband Bob founded Carluke Orchards in Ancaster where she worked passionately for over 50 years. She was dedicated to her family, friends and community. The family wishes to thank St. Peter’s Hospital for their compassion, care and support, and all of our neighbours and friends for their expressions of kindness and their prayers over the past months. Visitation will take place in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel on Thursday, March 17 at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in Carluke Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice in memory of Marion.
