It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria, with family by her side. Predeceased by her parents, Giovanni & Donata DiMatteo. Predeceased by husband Frank & now reunited. They had a loving marriage of 42 years. Loving Mother to Sandra (Mark Watson), Tony (Karen Colterman), & Nancy (Mike West). Proud Nonna to Megan, Emily, Curtis, Alyssa, Aidan & Lindsey. Dear sister to the late Elisa Tesone (Pietro), Gina Buccella (the late Gabriel), Nella Sanvito (the late Mauro) & the late Emidio DiMatteo (Rachela). Dear sister-in-law to Louis & Lana Acciaccaferro, Connie & Eugene Canzi. Will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Visitation will be held in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Wednesday April 19, 2023 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Caledonia, on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 11a.m. Maria will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington. Mom, you left us so many beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and will forever be in our hearts. Although we cannot see you, we know you will always be by our side.
