Obituary for Lynda Gail Smith (Howarth)

November 28, 1943 ~ April 20, 2022
Passed away peacefully in the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 59 years to Garth Smith. Loving mother to daughters Corey Wallace (Dale Vining) and Paula Searles. Dear Nana to her grandchildren, Carly Wallace (Brian Studer) and Brendan Wallace (Riley Featherston). Lynda is also survived by her brother Bart Snow of Toronto, and predeceased by her parents, Ivy Snow and Arthur Howarth and her brother Gord Howarth and her sister Vivian Dunn. Our deepest thanks to the 3rd Floor Staff at the Hagersville Hospital and Dr. Phillips. Their kind, caring professionalism was appreciated. Our appreciation also goes out to the community that makes it possible to facilitate the use of the palliative care room at the hospital. A private family service will take place in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia. At a later date there will be a celebration of life held to commemorate Lynda. If desired, donations made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Haldimand Norfolk would be appreciated by the family.
