After a courageous hard fought battle with cancer, John passed away on Monday June 13th, 2022. Beloved husband, best friend and partner in crime to Tracey. Loving father to Candace (Matt) and Katelin (Ian) as well as his Van Crew kids, Sam and Kailey. He was so looking forward to meeting his soon to be granddaughter Natalie. Predeceased by his parents John and Irene and his brothers Dave (Lynn) and Harry (Sil), his sister Marilyn. Also survived by his siblings, Bill (Dorothy), Bob (Maria), Brian (Rhonda), Larry (Laura) and Janet Lister (Bill). John will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, Ron Jones (Amanda) and fondly remembered as the "favorite uncle Johnny" by his many nieces and nephews. John will be remembered for his quick-wit, amazing dad jokes and always had a smile and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. John will be reunited with his best friend Rosie and playing fetch again at the park. He will be fondly remembered and shall always be in the hearts of those he loved so dearly. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 12 p.m.
