ATKINSON-McCLUNG, Janet May 1956-2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Janet on Friday, February 17, 2023. Loving wife and best friend to Murray ("Bear") and faithful servant to her pets Rusty, Mindy, Leo, Jazz and Kiki. She is survived by her father Ross, sisters Susan and Debby and brother David. She will be greatly missed by the McClung family and her many nieces, nephews and all those that loved Aunt Janet as well as her many friends whose life she touched. She joins her beloved mom Sally, father-in-law Sam and her many pets that have gone before her. Special thanks and endless appreciation for the doctors and nurses at Juravinski and St. Peters hospitals. As per her wishes there will be no service at this time. There will be a celebration of life for friends and family at a future date. Janet loved animals and gardening. In her memory a donation to your local animal rescue or a flower planted in your garden would make her happy. They say when a cardinal appears an angel is near. Next time you see a cardinal say “Hi Janet”. To quote Janet “I love you all to the moon and back” Arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia.
