Passed away peacefully at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville, in his 97th year. Born in Mitchell, Ontario
Survived by his wife Eva, daughters Elaine (Brent), Kelly (Andrew) and his grandsons Jacob (Sarah), Michael (Lally), Nicholas (Emily), Brent (Kaleigh), Great Granddaughter Natalie and Great Grandson Jack Predeceased by parents Harry and Calliope Vlachos, siblings Marion ( Constantino), Theodore (Grace),Stavroula (Felix), Beatrice (Louis) and Helen (Peter) Jim was a WWII veteran and served with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders overseas. He was a kind and gentle person. He was devoted to his family and faith and he will be terribly missed. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10a.m. - 11a.m. followed by a Greek Orthodox Funeral Mass, in Panagia Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, at 12p.m.( 233East 15th St. Hamilton, ON ) A private interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Donations to the Panagia Church would be appreciated by the family.
