On November 16, 2022, in his 81st year, Harry passed away at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Memories of Harry might conjure an image of a hard-working man in denim overalls and a Blue Jays cap. Others might hear the sound of Johnny Cash on the radio, or think of a polished Mack truck driving from coast to coast. Plain-spoken and frank, Harry was a man unafraid to speak his mind. His grandchildren were one of the best antidotes to his sometimes prickly exterior. He was gritty and tenacious, overcoming cancer in 2016 while battling COPD. Harry also had a great sense of humour and loved a good laugh. He had many hobbies throughout his life, including woodworking, gardening, traveling to Nashville with his late-wife Gloria, having a night out at the Casino, and watching his beloved Blue Jays. Harry is finally at peace. We remember his strength and perseverance, his generosity and love. He knew how to enjoy life to the fullest and his infectious smile will live in our hearts and minds forever. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment in Cayuga River Side Cemetery.
