In loving memory of Gary Shurvell. Gary passed away peacefully with family by his side at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 1:14 am at the age of 76. Born in Winnipeg on March 10, 1945 , Gary was a son of the late Arthur and Denise Shurvell. He was the cherished husband of 54 years to Isa Shurvell. Gary was a proud father to Susan and Christopher Shurvell. He was the loving Papa of Dylan, Ethan, Joshua, Cameron and his only beloved granddaughter Ashley. Gary will be missed dearly by his siblings, Janet, Jackie (late), Ken, Liz, Lorna, John, and Deborah. Gary will be remembered fondly by everyone who entered into his life. Gary was a true 'protector' and 'superhero'; he was dedicated to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He took great pride in his family, he loved history and was able to travel and see so much of the world. He would work extremely hard to make sure that everything was taken care of and would always put himself last. He looked forward to sharing stories and was always joking. He was very knowledgeable and was always willing to offer some advice or lend a helping hand. He has touched so many hearts and will be terribly missed but will never be forgotten. A visitation followed by a service at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia will take place on Thursday, February 10 at 11:00 am for visitation and 12:00 pm for the service.
