Obituary for Gary Franklin Barrick

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gary at home, surrounded by love at the age of 74. Gary will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Marion Barrick (nee Randall) and his son Ryan (Carolyn) and daughter Melissa (Justin), his grandchildren Jaden, Carson, Jenna, Logan, Keira and Tristyn will miss their beloved Papa. His greatest joy was his family and watching his children and grandchildren grow and flourish. Predeceased by his sister Gail Randell and his parents. He will be sadly missed by sister-in-laws Barb Trott (Roy), Deb Wood (Tom) and brother-in-law Jim Randall (Gabi) plus many nieces and nephews. His memory will be cherished by the many friends he has made over the years. Gary was a Sheet Metal Worker for over 40 years working out of Hamilton Local 537. Gary loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, skeet shooting and golf. Visitation will take place Friday, May 27 from 6 - 8pm at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia, Ontario. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations given to the Heart and Lung Association would be appreciated.
