SMITH, Frances Roberta
Peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in her 81st year, surrounded by her loving family at the Valley Park Lodge, in Niagara Falls. Loving mother to Raymond and Sharon Smith and Tracey and Grant Thompson. Beloved and loving NaNa to Spencer, Clayton, Madison, Erin and Cameron. Great NaNa to Reign and Rhys. Frances is survived by her sister Shirley Morgan (Ted). She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Agnes Mawhinney. Also predeceased by her siblings Betty Webster, Robert Mawhinney and Gordon Mawhinney. She will be missed by her good friend Diane Miller. Frances was proud to work for a newspaper and the TV Guide for many years. She ended her career working in the mental health field which was her passion. But most of all she loved being a Nana and being with her grandchildren. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11a.m. followed by the service in the Chapel at 12p.m.
