MURPHY, Frances Mae (nee Mehlenbacher)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances, just shy of her 94th birthday. Beloved wife of Allison in their 68th year of marriage. Cherished and supportive Mom of Doug & Cindy Murphy, Janet & Brad Randall, and Paul Murphy & Steve Hawes. Loving and devoted Nana/Grandma to Blair & Emma Randall, Beth Randall, and Brendan Murphy & P.J. Dominick. Adoring great nana to Charlotte Randall and Jonah Dominick. Predeceased by her sisters Kay Coverdale (Murray) and Helen Mehlenbacher. Sister in law to Betty Hines (Ken), Eric & Myrtle Willis, and Ross & Karen Murphy. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of Grace United Church, and an active participant in the UCW. Frances was an avid baker, knitter, and Wheel of Fortune puzzle solver extraordinaire. She enjoyed spending time working in her gardens and relaxing at the cottage on Whitestone Lake. Her greatest passion and enjoyment was time spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 2p.m. Cremation will follow. An interment of ashes will take place at a later date in the Canfield Cemetery. Donations to the Grace United Church, Caledonia or the Caledonia Agricultural Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
