Ed passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in his 92 year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bertha and son Kevin as well as his six siblings. Loving father to Pat (Vicki) and MargaretThompson (Gord). The best Papa and big papa to Danielle (Greg), Shawn, Nicole (Brayden), Brandon, Mike, James, Blake, Chase, Laila, Riley (Cody), Jesse, Skyler, Hunter and Hadley. Papa “head” to Ange, Joey (Zoe), Emmit and Charlie. Ed had a passion for harness racing and training horses. He enjoyed sailing and fishing with his good friend Raymond Smith. A private family service will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, and an interment of ashes and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
