It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Dobson, of Canfield, Ontario announces his passing on March 9th, 2023, born September 2, 1938, of Edinburgh. Beloved husband to Lyla, nee Young, and father to their three children; Julie Jacobs (m. David Jacobs), Carolyn Walsh (p. Robert Platsko), and Douglas Andrew Dobson (p. Maria Thornton). Grandfather to Jean Ward, Joe and Jess Walsh. A Great grandfather to Leith, Naeema, Peyton, Quinlan, Blaire, and Derek. Please join us for a Masonic Memorial Service, honouring Doug’s life, to be held on Saturday, March 18th, located at MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 28 Caithness, Caledonia, Ontario. Visitation will be from 9am - 11am with the service commencing at 11am. The family invites you to join them for refreshments at the Masonic Lodge in Cayuga located at 8 Munsee St S, Cayuga, Ontario from 12:30pm – 2pm. We would like to thank St Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton for all their compassion, dedication, and support to the family during his time of passing.
