It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a very much-loved husband to Andrea (Kaesler). Beloved dad to Denise, and pops to Derek (Andrea), very proud and beloved grandpa to Lily, Nathaniel, Alyssa and Zackery. Son in law to Wolfgang and Annemarie, brother-in-law to Peter and Klaus (Sharon) and Uncle to Brent (Jess), Marlena, Moira and Nolan. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dorothy and his brother Ed. David will be very much missed by his two fluffy boys, Digger and Shadow who spent most of their time by his side. Dave was a very proud and dedicated employee of Ford Motor Company for almost 37 years. Dave loved his Leafs, Ticats and most of all, car racing. He found a love for RVing with Andy and loved his travelling and the friends that have been made along the way. To his buddy, Nic (his words), "There are not enough words to show our gratitude, we are extremely grateful. Thank you." Many thanks to Dr. Medve and all the girls at Parkview Meadows who showed him love and put a smile on his face. Your tireless efforts of comfort and care is immeasurable and not recognized enough. The race has been long, many laps have been run. Your pride, your strength, endurance, and dignity has been immeasurable. You have climbed many hills, turned many corners, hit a lot of bumps, and had a lot of cautions. With the guidance of your crew chief, your pit crew, and many fans, you crossed the finish line and won the race. Cremation has taken place after private family visitation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Miller Funeral Chapel. If desired, donations can be made to the West Haldimand General Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hagersville Legion at a later date. Rest in peace now my Handsome.
