Obituary for Albert Cecil "Bud" Richardson
RICHARDSON, Albert (Bud)
Passed away peacefully January 8th 2023 in his 94th year. Born in Caledonia on August 2, 1929, to Matthew and Grace (Welsby) Richardson. Predeceased by his wife Joan (Hill) January 5th, 2019. Father to Peggy Myers (Butch), Tim (Karen), Cathy Howard (Dale), Kim (Lisa). Survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Brother to Roy (Barb), Norma Dalgiesh, Shirley Spencer, Donna Martin (Gord), Joan Kelly (Ron) and predeceased by eleven siblings. Bud worked in the Transportation Industry all his life. His many passions were fly-in fishing, hunting in Nakina and the Masonic Lodge. Special thanks to his friends in Selkirk and along the lake for their help and time spent with our Dad. Also thank you to Leisure Living and staff for their amazing service and care. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. John’s Lodge No.35 Cayuga. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, February, 19th, 2023 at the Caledonia Lions Hall from 2p.m. - 3:30p.m., with a Masonic Service to begin at 3:30p.m., followed by a burial of ashes at the Caledonia Cemetery, where all are welcome to attend.
